AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner Logo

This course covers the skills and knowledge required to deploy, manage, and operate systems on AWS cloud platform. Students learn how to implement and control the flow of data to and from AWS, select the appropriate AWS service, identify appropriate use of AWS operational practices, estimate AWS usage costs and identify operational cost control mechanisms, and migrate on-premises workloads to AWS.

  • List the different cloud architecture design principles
  • Define the AWS shared responsibility model
  • Define AWS Cloud security and compliance concepts
  • Identify AWS access management capabilities
  • Identify resources for security support
  • Define methods of deploying and operating in the AWS Cloud
  • Define the AWS global infrastructure
  • Identify the core AWS services
  • Identify resources for technology support
  • Compare and contrast the various pricing models for AWS
  • Recognize the various account structures in relation to AWS billing and pricing
  • Identify resources available for billing support

Certification Exam

This course prepares students for the following exam:

Prerequisites

  • High School Diploma/ GED, and CompTIA A+ Certification, prior completion of the A+ course, or equivalent knowledge and skills.

Occupational Objectives

Upon completion of the course, students will be qualified to be a cloud associate, junior cloud engineer, or junior clould administrator as an AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

A student who cancels within 7 days of signing the enrollment agreement but before instruction begins receives all monies returned with the exception of the non-refundable registration fee.
Thereafter, a student will be liable for:

  1. The non-refundable registration fee plus,
  2. The cost of any textbooks or supplies accepted plus,
  3. Tuition liability as of the student's last date of physical attendance.
If termination occurs:
0 - 15% of the program
16% - 30% of the program
31% - 45% of the program
46% - 60% of the program
After 60% of the program
